About the position

The Head of Web Division will play a pivotal role in leading our website development team and driving the strategic vision for web projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of high-quality websites for our clients, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices. In this leadership position, you will mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. You will also manage client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise in web development technologies and project management will be essential in shaping the future of our digital offerings.

  1. Leadership and Management – Lead and manage the website development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. – Set departmental goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with the company’s overall mission and vision. – Ensure effective collaboration and communication within the website development department and with other departments.
  2. Website Development – Oversee the planning, design, development, and maintenance of websites for clients. – Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to website development. – Ensure the implementation of responsive design and optimization techniques to enhance user experience and search engine visibility.
  3. Project Management – Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality websites. – Coordinate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns or issues throughout the project lifecycle. – Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  4. Quality Assurance – Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of error-free and functional websites. * Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in website functionality or performance.
  5. Team Development – Identify training and development needs within the website development team and implement appropriate learning initiatives. – Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing among team members. – Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and recognize achievements to promote professional growth and motivation.
  6. Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations regarding website development projects. – Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven 3-5 years’ experience in website development, with a focus on leading teams and managing projects in a digital agency or similar environment.
  • Strong technical skills in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Excellent leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and deliver results.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Thorough understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and lead teams through change and innovation.
